The successful candidate will take primary ownership of the operating-system, server, database-connectivity, and infrastructure-migration areas.
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Unix/Linux administration.
Bash and Python.
Ansible.
Oracle databases.
Git.
On-premises infrastructure.
Server patching and lifecycle-management tooling.
RHEL administration, troubleshooting, upgrades, and migrations.
Unix/Linux production support.
Infrastructure automation and configuration management.
Oracle connectivity, performance, and infrastructure-level troubleshooting.
Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
TLS/SSL certificates.
Monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
High availability and infrastructure resilience.
Exposure to DataDog or a similar monitoring platform.
Experience with GitLab or Jenkins.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expertise.
Data-centre migration experience.
Background in financial-services or other regulated environments.
