Position Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking qualified and dedicated Physiotherapists to join a premier healthcare and rehabilitation provider in Western Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, long-term career within a structured, supportive environment that offers excellent tariff-based progression and on-site accommodation support.
Key Offerings & Compensation
- Employment Status: Secure, permanent German employment contract.
- Working Hours: Full-time (typically around 39 hours per week, structured according to tariff regulations).
- Salary Range: €3,500 – €4,200 gross/month, depending heavily on your specific qualifications, years of experience, and official German recognition (Anerkennung) status.
- Relocation Support: Affordable accommodation is available directly at or near the facility location to help you settle in smoothly.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Language Skills: Minimum B2 German certificate (or equivalent proven proficiency). Strong communication is essential for patient care and documentation.
- Professional Recognition:
- Priority 1: Candidates with full German professional recognition (Urkunde/vollständige Anerkennung) are highly preferred.
- Priority 2: Candidates with B2 German who are not yet fully recognized, but have a complete set of documents and a realistic recognition pathway. Our client will fully support and guide you through the official German recognition (Anerkennung) process.
- Documentation: You must possess clean, organized documentation regarding your physiotherapy qualifications, language certificates, and current recognition status.
Core Eligibility & Regulatory Requirements
To ensure a smooth visa and professional recognition process, all candidates must meet the following baseline criteria:
- Language Proficiency: Minimum B2 German level is strictly required. This is a mandatory prerequisite for both the immigration/visa pathway and the German medical/therapeutic recognition process.
- Completed Qualifications & Home-Country Registration: Candidates must have fully completed their professional studies. Crucially, they must hold full, active registration and authorization to practice without restrictions in their home country (e.g., a physiotherapist must not only have a diploma but also the official license/registration to practice in their jurisdiction).
- Medical Doctors (General Framework): While the current pilot focuses on nursing and therapy, please note that any medical doctor profiles must have completed their full residency period and hold full work authorization in their home country.
- Geographic Focus: Sourcing will primarily target candidates within Europe for faster processing, though highly qualified international candidates who meet all other criteria remain a secondary option.
The Recognition Process (General Information)
For candidates who possess the required B2 German level but are not yet fully recognized in Germany, a clear pathway is available:
- Once the baseline criteria above are met, the official German professional recognition (Anerkennung) process can be initiated.
- This process typically takes between a few months to half a year.
- Financial Support: In most cases, the costs associated with this recognition pathway are heavily subsidized or fully covered by government funding programs. We provide end-to-end guidance to help candidates navigate this bureaucracy successfully.
