About the Role

As a Blue Prism Developer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable automation solutions that improve business processes across multiple departments. You’ll work closely with Business Analysts, stakeholders, and delivery teams to deliver high‑quality automations from design to deployment.
This role is 80% pure development, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Blue Prism
  • Translate business requirements into technical automation designs
  • Build reusable objects and processes aligned with best practices
  • Create SIT/UAT test scripts and support testing cycles
  • Produce deployment and hypercare documentation
  • Provide post‑go‑live support and root cause analysis
  • Integrate Blue Prism with REST APIs / Web Services
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of automation standards
  • Support knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years hands‑on Blue Prism development experience
  • Blue Prism Professional Developer accreditation (mandatory)
  • Proven delivery of 8+ automation projects within the last year
  • Strong understanding of best practices, exception handling, logging
  • Experience integrating Blue Prism with APIs / Web Services
  • Technical background in C#, Java, C++, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical teams
  • Must have recent (last 5 years) Blue Prism experience
  • Must be based in the UK and willing to relocate near London

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring junior developers
  • Consulting or client‑facing background
  • Experience in fast‑paced, global environments
