Braze Campaign Services Consultant (Contract)
Role Overview A leading marketing technology consultancy is seeking experienced Braze Campaign Services Consultants to join a growing delivery team supporting enterprise customer engagement programmes. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on building, deploying, and optimising multi-channel lifecycle campaigns directly within the Braze platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical campaign execution with a solid understanding of customer engagement strategy, lifecycle marketing, and marketing automation best practices.

- Contract Type: Independent Contractor / Consultant
- Duration: 3-month rolling contract
- Capacity: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Location: Remote. Candidates based in the USA.
- Working Hours: Must have strong overlap with US West Coast (Pacific Time) business hours

Key Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and execute multi-channel customer engagement campaigns using Braze.
- Develop and maintain Braze Canvases, Campaigns, Audience Segments, Personalisation Strategies, and Customer Lifecycle Journeys.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical campaign workflows.
- Configure and optimise Braze capabilities, including Email, Push Notifications, In-App Messaging, SMS, Content Cards, Connected Content, and Liquid Personalisation.
- Execute campaign builds with precision, consistency, and strong attention to detail.
- Monitor campaign performance, conduct campaign QA and testing prior to deployment, and troubleshoot delivery or execution issues.
- Identify optimisation opportunities to improve engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Collaborate directly with internal delivery teams and client stakeholders to ensure campaign success.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on Braze experience in production environments.
- Proven experience building and managing production Braze Canvases and Campaigns.
- Solid technical understanding of HTML, SQL, Liquid Templating, JavaScript, JSON, and APIs/Data Integrations.
- Experience working with Connected Content, Catalogs, Currents, and Liquid Personalisation.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and retention strategies.
- Experience supporting mobile-first engagement programmes.
- Previous agency, consultancy, or client-facing delivery experience is strongly preferred.
