Your Responsibilities
· Development of modern frontend applications based on ReactJS, Next.js and TypeScript
· Development of APIs based on GraphQL
· Development of modern backend applications based on Node.js and PHP Symfony
· Design and implementation of new features for sophisticated software solutions in cooperation with project management, design, and development departments
· Writing and maintaining our automated test suites
· Participation in continuous improvement processes
Your Qualifications
· Very good knowledge of Node.js
· Very good knowledge of modern PHP (v8 and above)
· Very good knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6 and above) and/or TypeScript
· Very good knowledge of Next.js
· Extensive knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries such as ReactJS
· Good knowledge of PHP frameworks and libraries such as Symfony and/or Laravel
· SQL experience with relational databases
· Good understanding of established and evolving Web APIs
· Competences in consuming and creating web services based on REST and especially GraphQL
· Know-how in performance optimization
· Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is helpful
· Experience with agile development in a team
· Hands-on experience with automated software testing
· Basic knowledge in API security
· Fluent in English
Nice to have
· Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like, i.a., Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm
· Knowledge of designing and adapting software according to the twelve-factor methodology
· Knowledge of continuous integration via tools like bitbucket or Jenkins
· Experience with Object-relational mapping, e.g. using Doctrine in PHP
· Experience with headless CMS such as Strapi
· Experience with PostgreSQL
· Experience with Apollo Federation

This is a long term position
We are hiring on behalf of FreshCells, a growing software company of ~60 employees, delivering custom digital solutions for international clients.
FreshCells focuses primarily on the travel industry (~75%), building booking platforms and related products. Additional projects span automotive, health, and energy sectors.
The contract will be signed with our partner Brain Source International with their offices in London or Ukraine (not directly with FreshCells).
Role Overview
· 60% Frontend (React)
· 40% Backend (Node.js)
· Work on modern web applications, primarily in the travel/booking domain
· Some parts of the system are built in PHP (not a daily focus)
